As long as Charlie has had a run out, that's all that matters. According to a lot of people on NSC, he'll be a welcome addition to the squad this season. Who needs Bertin?

:lolol::lolol::lolol::rolleyes:

Fair point, I don't usually bother with them either...have only been to a handful and they were mainly because the opposition was worth watching (Spurs complete with Gazza at the Goldstone, Hearts versus Fulham and Spurs, last season Forest Green against Sunderland), am tempted by the game at Chester but only because it is easy to get to and I haven't been to their new ground yet.

Good start for him although I can't help thinking we are expecting a hell of a lot from him.

First half team:

Kuipers,
youth teamer, Elphick, Lynch, Mayo,
Reid, Oatway, Cox, Robinson,
Elder, Savage.

Second half team;

Sullivan,
Chamberlain, Fraser, Butters, Rents,
Gatting, El-Abd, Hammond, Loft
Revell, Forster

Looked more fluid and inventive in the first half though the front pairing looked better in the second.

so it WASN'T Fogden playing defence first half *phew*

overall edgy and uncut but not too dreadful , we played some positive stuff first half but lacked some flow (fairness to the Worthing keeper he did well when called upon) but Elders sitter fluffed up summed up our luck today

they worked hard, we really didn't get out of first gear but enough from each half to let me know we'd be alright this season

The number 2 in the first half definately WAS Fogden, I went to school with him so I should recognise him. RB isn't really his position though, he is more of a midfielder, I'm guessing he was only there because Whing was missing.

Elder scored in the first half.
The equaliser was also an Albion player - Sam Gargan, who is on loan to Worthing. And it was Fogden at right back.
