Loaning Scott Sinclair will be the thing that pushes Palace up into the playoffs. Sad but true.

i said that a few weeks back, victor moses possible has the skinniest legs i have seen on a footballer bar peter crouch, looked pretty decent though before he come off injured

nice to see palace's away support up to their usual standards , looks like less than 300 there. Even less than they brought to us.

Tin pot
Abysmal away support - League 2 clubs have better away followings

Always an excuse, if we were in a similar position in the championship to you then yes we would of taken far more than that against the team in 2nd. ;)
Does it really matter whether we'd take 300 or 500 to Stoke on a cold Monday night?

no not really , but seeing as we don't really have any bragging rights on palace on pretty much anything you have to pick what you can !

We have a better future than Palace. We've had to struggle to survive so will appreciate the good times all the more when they return.

Talking about scraping the barrel! We actually had over 600 there, but why i am justifying Palace's following to a Brighton fan i can't imagine! Still as you say Dougs any little thing to make you feel better about yourselves eh? In a funny way i can understand your angst!

Absolutely agree fella

There is no point in taking the piss out of us until we are in a position to compete on a level playing field with the likes of Palace. If we have made no progress after we've been playing in the new stadium for two years then you can wallow in your superiority. How do you think Palace would have fared had they had the problems that we've had since 1995 (earlier, arguably)? Palace wouldn't have spent three of the past five seasons in the second tier, that's for sure.

As you say there is no point in speculating as it is totally hypothetical

"In the Championship, and you?" We have played in the Championship for three of the past five seasons. Given Albion's recent history, I am proud of that record. So would you be if Palace's situation were similar to Albion's. In two years' time, will you change that line to "In a dump of a stadium, and you"?

Listen Unnameable you can pontificate and talk about it all you like, but the fact is Palace have not been out of the top 2 divisions for 30 years. Manchester United and Tottenham have been relegated in that time but that is not to say i think Palace are bigger than those 2!

I am really pleased that Brighton have finally got Falmer, as you say correctly your club more than most have been kicked in the nuts more times than most and there have been plenty of false dawns that have come to squat. And if, like many on here think Brighton will be challenging in the Championship within 3 years of the new stadium being built then i will say all power to your elbow.

However saying and doing are 2 completely different entities and it seems to me that a few Brighton fans (not all by any stretch) feel that once you get Falmer than everything will fall into place and away you go.

If that happens then fantastic but football generally isn't like that as you well know.

All i will say is good luck and lets hope we can look forward to a few more Palace v Brighton fixtures in the next few years than we have had in the past 18.

Maybe "Close to the premiership again, and you?"

The difference is that I don’t go on a Palace board and denigrate Palace. If you come on a Brighton board, and wallow in your club’s superiority, don’t be surprised if one or two Brighton fans have the temerity to have a go back. If and when Albion find themselves in a higher division than Palace, I won’t go on a Palace board and rub their fans’ noses in their club’s inferiority, because it will be only a matter of time before the tables are turned.

I believe that BHA will prosper when the new stadium is a reality because I’ve seen what the club has done when every conceivable obstacle has been stacked against it.
