And to sub off one of your best penalty takers (RVP) and to leave one of your other best penalty takers probably till 5th (Hunterlaar) and have Vlaar take the first

Genius to complete idiot within 1 game!

It would seem that Vlaar went up first as the (unnamed) players that we're asked to take/offered the first penalty turned it down.

I know it's the done thing to blame the manager for any perceived errors but if the players are going to bottle it then there's not much he could have done really.

Fair play to Vlaar for having the stones to step up.

Has to be one of the dullest games of football I have ever watched.

If that was someones introduction to football they wouldn't understand all the fuss that goes with it or bother watching a game again.
