anyone that is training/coaching it which trains are you getting? looks like it could be an interesting journey

I'm getting the train from Brighton at 9.04 (almost 100%). I thought it would be a nightmare but the journey will take just over three hours.

Brighton to London Bridge
London Bridge to Liverpool Street (tube)
Liverpool Street to Ingatestone (rail replacement bus)
Ingatestone to Colchester

If we win this one we will stay up :jester:

Hove...
This is probably the last away game I can go to this season what with Bristol being mid week (although if its not essential that I work I might go) and Huddersfield being miles away..

So I think that anyone that can go should go !! This really could be last chance saloon and I wanna be there to support the team...

I'm not sure really. I'm going on what route Southern Rail came up with, and it didn't mention there being any problems with the London Bridge - Liverpool Street tube. Have you heard otherwise? I might pop down Hove Station in a bit and see what they say. When I get back I will let you know.

Just went down there. The woman didn't think there was any scheduled disruption on the LB - LS tube, so it should be OK. The rail replacement bus will be a bit of a hassle, do you know how far Ingatestone is from Liverpool Street?

I'm quite looking forward to it tomorrow, should be a good laugh. I just hope we can get a positive result. Anywhere decent for pre-match drinks/lunch that we know of?

Might be worth mentioning, but when fans have gone to Colchester this season, it has been sit where you want in the away end. So I won't be buying the most expensive tickets!

we will probably head to the town centre where there will be a fair few pubs! train gets in at 12.20 so enough time for a few:drink:

Ingatestone is a village west of Chelmsford, and is fairly isolated, a few nice country style pubs there though, but a good hour from Colchester
