I know we're still banging on about FCUM but this game is really far more important.

Come on Gus, lets get the lads winning again. Not only would 3 points be very welcome but I've just noticed that we're the only team in the top ten who are at HOME this weekend. Therefore if we were to win, the chances are that our position at the top will be nicely cemented before the tough ask at Huddersfield.

And please please please start both Murray and Barnes.

Looking forward to freezing my knackers off at Withdean on staurday & being warmed by us getting back to winning ways.

Lets get behind the boys like we did at Charlton after the discontent at Bournemouth. And lets all SING! If nothing else it'll help you keep warm!

I'm making my way "home" for this game (and the BHACHS event).I get to more away games than home games these days,a simple fact of geography and economy. But I should warn people that I make three or four games a season and haven't seen us win since beating Southend 3-2 many, many moons ago now.I've seen lots of losses.bizarre draws, and poor reffing.Quite a few home sendings off.

It's TIME.

2-0.

Think that Gus will start with Wood and Barnes but I would prefer he start with Murray and Wood and have Barnes and Sandaza on the bench. I think the man we are missing could be Sparrow so hope he is fit and available.

So far this season i've missed 3 games (Sheff Wed, Hartlepool, and Walsall) in which we've lost our only 2 league games this season.
I cant make Saturday, but the key will be the back two for us, and whether or not they can cope with the long ball nonsense Colchester continually serve up. If El abd and Greer play, I have full confidence of another clean sheet, and Murray should be too clever for their center halves.

We've lost to them in the League at home on the last 2 occasions, it's about time we turned them over at our place.

Gutted I can't go but a family wedding beckons (how inconsiderate!), though my seat will be taken to cheer the boys on in my absence.

Do Colchester still play like a pub team, lumping it up the middle and kicking chunks out of the opposition? Or have they changed since last season?

Aidy HOOFroyd has since moved on, but with their squad i cant see anything else other than the long ball and kicking chunks out of Murray and Barnes again. I see Okuonghae and Odejayi (SP?) are still there, so expect nothing else.
