Today he wasn't great by a long chalk, certainly doesn't endear himself to the fans due to bouts of moaning and pouting, but did play okay in parts.

'Okay in parts' Sounds like a vast improvement from horseshit in the last game...
Hopefully if he continues with this pace of development, he may score a hatrick against Bournemouth.

Radio was generally quite positive about Best & a few that went have said he did OK. I'd start him on Friday.
Will it matter who starts or finishes on Friday?...we have plummeted so far that playing no-mark teams like Brentford, Bournemouth and Rotherham is just too much for us these days.

This all sounds like two bald men in an argument about a comb.

Nah (and that line has already been used v recently).

This is more like a bloke who desparately needs a decent comb but can't buy a new one so has to choose from what's in his wash bag:

1. The speedy comb with great attitude but no control which works to little effect.
2. The slow comb with great attitude, some control but works to little effect.
3. The best comb with poor attitude that works, so far, to little effect.

Having used combs 1 and 2 at length I'd now give comb 3 a decent run out. What's the worse that could happen? Another bad hair day.
