well it cant be as loud as it would normally be because you've got half our support up one end, and the other half up the other end.

I know it's different when you are actually there but the support sounded pretty impressive on SCR. The usual "tribute" to Mr Magleish's left Andrew Hawes having to almost shout over it!

The support was okay from where i was, maybe those who complain about the singing make a little more effort to be heard?

Henderson did alright yesterday. Looked quite threatening when he had the ball at his feet in the area. Also helped the team a lot defending set pieces. Put Jake in or someone else and you lose his height which is important during set pieces.

seesm were are playing down to the level of teams we are compteting against. Only when they scored did we get the ball on the ground - pass it around and look good! Against QPR we were great at times and I know we can play better than that yesterday and against Plymouth/Swindon too. We need to get passes together and move around abit then we look fine and a class above the opposition, but we are playing into their hands!

Yes good NSC turnout even if a few of us nearly missed KO due to some "thugish" scenes outside Yates  Why people have to pick fights is beyond me, gald they got collored though :)

As for my day out, missed 1st bus to colchester from stansted by 1 min had to wait 1 hour for the next, after the game got to the station for bus...missed it by 1 min had to wait 1 hour again, got back to stansted then waited for Bus to Harlow (where I was staying) and it never turned up...finally got back to granparents house at 9pm :censored:

Overall a day to forget for the crabtree :(

Yeah and hendersons height has rearly helped us mmmm!
I reckon peircy will be our star player this season just you watch as i have faith that he is one of our best players.

I hope jake does get in the team very soon as the doom and gloom and dismal performances are getting far to regular sadly.:drink: :drink: :smokin:

I would have said it sounded one of the noisier away followings on the radio, with a good range of Albion chants and McGleish bashing.

I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere...but when Harding got booked for handball, I thought it was Mayo that had stuck his arm up.

It was but on another thread allegedly Harding threw the ball away so got booked for unsportsman like conduct.

I think he has done OK.

Nothing spectacular but building up to being match fit now and scored two goals albeit penalties with 100% record.

I think that's harsh. It was a fluke, even the player himself said it. He lashed a cross, and mishit it, and it flew into the far top corner. Can't see that any blame can be attached to Roberts for that one.

Sorry mate, which "cast Iron Penalty" was that then. bacause I saw Harding(?) fall over in the area. was it that one?

Take the rose coloured specs off for a minute mate, and examine the game. We were bloody awful and deserved nothing from the game.

We now move on as that game has gone and hopefully will beat the Cheat...Sheff Wed will be a bigger test than QPR

I thought the Harding one wasa penalty but there was no way the ref could've given it, the guy was all over his shirt but it happens all the time, there'd be 20 penalties a game if those were given.
Always judge by the players reaction, Harding just jogged away after that challenge.

yeah true that chappers, he was getting tugged but no way the ref could've seen it but we still gave him some shit anyway!

It was a shit day in a shit town full of inbreds, the home end was like something out of a particularly f***ed up episode of The League of Gentlemen and seeing some old bloke with a walking stick coming out of the boys toilets with a smile on his face was probably the low point.

xx
