Coke's actually causing a big problem in south america with all the land being taken to grow it..
Farmers clear the land, grow a shit load gear, the police/army/government/militia have a crack down and shut the operation, so they move on and set up somewhere else..
Also high level/satelite picture of some rivers in S.america show up pink, which is all the kerosene thats being poured away in to them..

Let's face it, ALL drugs are over-rated when they take over ANY of the rest of your life. It is FACT that they narrow the mind to the point that the mind is only focussed on the 'high' and little else.
There are so many other things you can do that will be at least as brilliant as (getting a temporary lift with a narrowed perspective) a social drug. How about a nice egg sandwich - delicious, inexpensive and no comedown. Seriously. You have to become a wanker to be taken in by the quick temporrary high that social drugs give you - but that's what is required and that's one of the drug's effects ......and one that helps the drug to be so pervasive to many victims.
There's a phrase "instant arsehole, just add alcohol". Well, this phrase is pertinant here; "lingering moronic wanker losing enthusiasm and capability for participation in normal life and it's natural joys, just add drugs".

I wouldn't like to have a tooth removed without an injection of local anaesthetic. Do they still use cocaine for that?
Medicinally drugs are great. Heroin is for terminally ill cancer patients.
Recreationally - never tried it and never wanted to.

watched my Dad die from cancer off his trolley on drugs (opiates ?) to relieve the pain, worst experience of my life.
but, recreationally they can be sensibly used and enjoyed. but different types of drugs obviously

Novocaine - a derivative. Got some in the States when I was there last, stronger than the stuff you can get here, superb for toothache. Actually means that you can't feel your face, but that's no bad thing!
Morphine - bloody incredible, I think - vague memories of lots of pain, then nothing at all. Seen people on it, used it on people, but can't really see the attraction of doing it by preference.
Don't see the point of recreational drug use, but then again I don't drink either - am I missing out on something?!

quite rightly rated as one of the most overated drugs there is at times but go out for a big night out with some in your pocket and the right friends and well...................................... it does`nt seem overated then does it.
