To be fair there is a lot of coast as we live on an island so I would imagine a third series may happen and let's hope so.

THE best programme on the telly, bar none. FACT.

Tonight is Shetland to Orkney - the most northerly tip of the British Isles. I am off sea-kayaking there, later this month, when there will be almost 24 hour daylight

Lerwick is TOP. Before you hit the pub, go to the Up Helly Aa museum if you can. It's in a shed, but it's still totally ace.

Can't remember the name of the bars I drank in, but they're both upstairs if that helps

And cheers for the reminder. I'll just pop out to get some biscuits before it starts.

Tonight's show apparently starts where the last one left off - at, Muckle Flugga, the UK's most northernly point.

And the UK's best named point also

Last series won a BAFTA doncha know. Quite right too.

Beyond any shadow of doubt this series is worth the licence fee alone - simply the BBC at its' very best

Can't disagree with that.

I wish the BBC would have the courage to put something like that on prime time.
