coach v train mid sussex

Went to the game with mid sussex gulls on the coach then train back to hove after! although the trains were pretty well run i would still have been waiting for my train to leave brighton station when the mid sussex coach was dropping at the pub in haywards heath! No competition really as trains and falmer station were pretty rammed! If anyone was less than impressed give mid sussex gulls an email midsussexgulls@aol.com Its all about options and with another 5k getting out the stadium options are needed!

I thought the trains coped pretty well tbh. The queue for the train back to Lewes was only ten mins or so. If everything runs that smoothly next Sat I'll be well happy.

Are you on commission Rev ?

I AM PART OF MID SUSSEX GULLS! But any travel profits are in the kitty for future travel!
We had 65 on the coach today and looks like all 77 seats will be taken for donnie!
Also over 50 coach season tickets have been sold! So very pleased with the turnout and travel time.
We are going to need ventures like this to work to take pressure off the trains and enable extra capacity at the falmer in the future.

Can you pay on the day:p Actually serious question as would suit me for some midweek games.

It might be possible but we would give priority to those booking for the season,i know we have seats for the gillingham cup game.
You are very welcome to get in touch for availability for evening games but quite a few people who have said the same.As you can understand its very much a new concept running travel to home games but we need to get some games under our belt to judge demand.
you can email midsussexgulls@aol.com for more info.

Rory Just posted this on another thread.

I know Rev winds up a lot of people with his WEIRD UPPER CASE CAPS threads (He even winds me up sometimes) but he really is a top bloke who has supported the Albion for yonks

Rory is secretary of MSS and he has put in a lot of work into setting the club up. (Sorry if I have dissed your street cred mate )

The success of the club has exceeded all of our expectations at such an early stage.

It was a ramp up event for us today as well (Mid Sussex Seagulls)

Had a drink after the game and moved down to our 77 seater coach at 5:30. Dropped off members at Hassocks and Burgess Hill. We were back in Haywards Heath just after 6.

Today exceeded our expectations. We now have 53 season ticket holders for our double decker coach.

For information. We are SOLD OUT for Doncaster but we are taking names for a waiting list.

Cheers

Hi, We are sold out for all league games but we do sometimes have spare seats, as members sometimes can't make it for a variety of reasons. We took some extra bookings this week as a few of our members are on holiday. So, it is always worth enquiring. We are now sold out for the Blackpool game.

We run a 77 seater coach from Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill and Hassocks. We have about 10 places left for the coach on Tuesday. We expect to sell out.

Cheers
