I've always been in the Cms camp. But what an awful decision to bring him on. We had scored two goals from two headers from two crosses. I saw Ulloa speak to Poyet shorty before he was subbed, so I assume he was telling Poyet he was knackered, which is far enough in his first game. The obvious decision was to move Barnes into the middle and put on either Vicente or Orlandi. So what happens, we stick a midget up front against a team, we had already scored against with two headers. It was a great team performance today, but both the first half substitution and the second half one actually weakened the side on the pitch.

I wondered that myself as I'm sure did many others. And I agree with Kev as well. Vicente would have been a better bet in my opinion.

The bigger issue was when Ulloa went off only one player might have scored - Barnes or possibly Spanish Dave, I have no confidence in CMS however if he were to pair up with Ulloa.......

Also, why was he given the job of being the man on the line for Walcott's goal? Needed someone with a bigger frame.

Had CMS been playing for Arsenal he would have been 'professional' enough to get a penalty, to make it 3-3.
I'm sure most of there fouls were fouls but by christ they made sure the ref saw it.


Ullao seemed a major factor in Barnes playing so well.
Best not write CMS off just yet.

CMS Barnes & Ullao, should get it done, between them.

Ulloa was knackered so Gus had to take him off and CMS didn't have a chance to do much as we were very much on the back foot by the time he'd come on.

As much as I love CMS and his lion like hair, he was poor today, id have brought Vicente on instead myself.

The sub was irrelevant at the end of the day, Walcott and Wilshere were just too much for us when they came on.

Nobody's saying that at all. I have been in the CMS camp all season but we definitely lost something when he came on, and all of a sudden we didn't look like scoring. It will be interesting to see whether Gus plays him with Ulloah or not in the next game.
