I was listening on BBC Suffolk this afternoon they 'just couldn't get enough' of him they thought he was quality. Also very positive about the team - thought we were as good as any team they've had at Portman Road...

Cms and Austin have a similar conversion rate.

Yes, yes he does.

Stats for some leading championship strikers this season.

CMS: Played 22, goals 11. shots 46 (27 on target). Goals to shots ratio 23.9%. Goals to shots on target ratio 40.7%.

Rhodes: Played 22 goals 12. shots 46 (27 on target). Goals to shots ratio 26%. Goals o shots on target ratio 44%.

Austin: Played 27, goals 23. Shots 82 (50 on target). Goals to shots ratio 28%. Goals to shots on target ratio 46%.

Murray: Played 26, goals 22. Shots 51 (33 on target). Goals to shots ratio 43%. Goals to shots on target ratio 67%.

Wood: Played 19, goals 11. Shots 52 (31 on target). Goals to shots ratio 21%. Goals to shots on target ratio 35%.

Think this shows a couple of things. Firstly Murray is having an amazing season - he has scored a fair few more pens than CMS though and is played with 2 very fast and direct wingers.

Rhodes was £4.5m more expensive for a similar return so far. Austin has a much higher number of shots but then he has Vokes (who is shit but hey) alongside him. Woods stats are Millwall only and rarely plays on his own up front.

Stats obviously dont tell the full story, but none of us get to see these players every week so its all we have, and CMS isnt doing as bad as a lot are making out. PLay him in a team with 2 wingers and two strikers and his stats will improve considerably imo.

Will the Cardiff or Hull directors and managers even take the calls? I suspect that predatory clubs or stirring agents, will be sent on their way.

It's time for Bloom, Barber & Poyet to do the same, and get this selling club mentality (the weak "everyone has their price) out of their psyche.

Retain Buckley and Bridcutt no matter, and only entertain bids for the erratic CMS if we have guaranteed a class striker or two, ready to sign on the dotted line for us.

This won't go down well with everyone. You have produced hard evidence in praising 'the evil' Murray.

But the core stat, considering it is the raison d'etre of their roles, is:

Austin 23
Murray 22

CMS 11

Agree totally.

There is no debt, we have huge income, so why even listen to a prick who comes calling saying we want Bridcutt and/or Buckley, so that we can write off your season and possibly the next.

Bloom and Barber have to start acting stronger, and add quality to the squad.

As I have just got in, can someone please talk me through the goal.

Set up, distance from area, players beaten etc.

In an ideal world liken it to an AMEX goal.

I'm just curious, you understand.
It's not as if I'm going to systematically troll round the board looking for people to renew conversations with!

Seen his goal on Sky header on by Barnes and he used his pace to beat the def and shoot ... At last a more direct route which suits him

Dont understand why anyone would want CMS to go..... we should play a system and buy players to bring the best out of him.
If he s that bad why is there premiership interest.

Ah no. NSC loves Murray again now and everyone wishes he was still a Brighton player so it can be used as a stick to beat Gus with.

I'm sure the agenda will change again soon though.

a huge amount of our income goes on transport on match days, we are not as flush as you seem to think we are.
