Excellent watch - thanks for posting. I too was surprised at his relatively modest pad. Seems like a top bloke - really hope it works out for him this season.

He came across very well but how little do they actually do??

An hour and a half's training - lunch and then finished by 1 is just silly - oh for the life of a poor old professional footballer who may have to play twice a week....

they train that much/little because that's what's best for their bodies i'd imagine

Mmmm I can understand the not wanting to over do the exercise bit but am surprised there isn't more time spent on some of the basics like shooting. It's always interesting to hear players who talk about staying behind after training to practice this or that when I would have thought the whole team could do with extra work on certain areas of their game.

You only have to look at the pre-match shooting practice to see there is a lot of work to be done.
