If it does happen, I really wouldn't be that worried. He's a brilliant guy who's tried really hard for us and certainly got enough goals to warrant a place in the squad, but he's just not been consistant enough to warrant a regular team sheet place and maybe it'd be better for everyone if we left amicably.

You're not alone. It would be daft to sell our top scorer when we have no proven (at our club) replacement. Craig is an integral part of how we play and Gus will not sell him until someone else comes in and proves that they are worthy of a regular starting place instead of him.

Just my opinion of course, but I'll stand by my thought for the time being.
