Would you drive CMS to Norwich?

From the BBS:

I can't see that we would be able to get anyone to even closely replace zaha with that in mind I would be happy to us sign cms from Br**hton I think he is a good player would play well off Murray and he is out favour on the South Coast

Well I could see a swap of Dobbie for Murray at a push, as Holloway obviously rates Dobbie, but even with the reinvested part of the Zaha money, I doubt palace can afford CMS.

I'm thinkng CMS now desperately wants to get away from the Albion to resurrect his career. Only a move will tell whether he just didn't fit in with that semi-formed thing known as 'our style of play' or whether he needs to drop a division. I'm thinking the latter.

I also think if our midfield players had chipped in with the odd goal the issue of a centre forward would not be so pressing. For example, Crofts had the best chance against Watford but hit it over.

Agree with this. I mentioned in the one or two threads after the watford game that too often we had to play i ck to retain possession, because no one was making any effort to get into the box, provide an option, make some space for themselves, etc. It was disappointing to have no one looking like they wanted to score.

Interesting, thanks. So it appears scoring 1 in 5 is more than acceptable in the Championship.

I posted this earlier this season, to give some context to Barnes' supposed poor conversion rate last season:

This also does not include the times Suarez had a chance to shoot and didn't take it, or when rooney hesitated too long and didn't get to shoot. (The second barnes column is removing his penalties because people kept using that to undermine his record him with)

I don't drive so it would have to be the train from Liverpool Street to Norwich.

It just hasn't worked out, time to move on and no bad feelings when he returns to the Amex as a visitor.

Only once they've got rid of Sam Allardyce and brought in a crowd favourite like Paolo Di Canio, who will get West Ham playing the right football once again. Could be a while though......
