Just read it again, your exact words are 'bring him back'. Your a tit mate.

Yeah with a  at the end.

Doesn't mean it's my opinion or choice, it's what could happen.

I never thought I'd spend an evening on here in a minority standing up for the team, but it seems I am:lolol:

As for 'can it get worse?' Yes, of course it can. It was as bad for this for long, long periods of last season. People are looking at Wilkins through rose-tinted specs because of the good run we had at the very end of last season, but I can remember plenty of games under him in which we were easily as bad (if not worse) as we were today.

We've played 11 games and yes, they've been largely disappointing. But we're still drawing matches. We're not a shambles, and we're not being rolled over week after week. I've seen plenty of albion teams who have been, but this is not one. As soon as the class players we have are firing together we're going to be damn good, and I'm CONVINCED we will not be in this position come March. You might not want me to say it, but I'm going to: give Micky time. Slagging a manager off after ELEVEN games makes us look pathetic and no better than the idiots of Newcastle.

I'll prpbably think differently in the morning but after whitnessing that rubbish i feel anoyed:lol::angry:

Ok here are my observations from today...

We looked better defensively today, but against a poor team. I'm not convinced that Hawkins and Elphick are the best 2 central defenders we've got at the club. Much rather see Elphick & Virgo or Lynch.

The Centre of midfield is where we're desparately lacking any creativity. I do not think that any of the central midfielders we've got are suited to the way we play...All other teams need to do against us is cancel out our wingers and then we're stuffed.

I can't understand why Thornton & Anyinsah haven't started on the wings and been kept there...They've both of the pace to take on full backs and yet they're not doing that.

Finally, Murray needs someone better to play along side him or we should go to a 4-5-1 but get someone in who's going to chip in with 10-15 goals from centre midfield.

And FFS will managers stop playing Cox on the wing. He's shit there and he's always been shit there...play him in the middle!!!

Today was dire, but Hereford didn't want to lose against us as it was their cup final today!

:) s'alright. anytime.

:D in all seriousness...Your initial comments were below the belt I was just making a point that not ALL the games have been crap at home this season.

I'm not sure whether Adams is the right man for the job. However, I do know that his tactics and team selection at the moment are akin to McGhee's and we all know what happened there.

That said, I do like Adams and going by the mutual arse kissing in the argus from both Knight & Adams, it's quite clear that neither are going anywhere at the moment.

However, if by the time the transfer window closes in January, we've not improved, then it'd be difficult for both Adams AND Knight to keep their jobs. The latter of which would have an egg the size of cow on his face.

I absolutely understand that, and yes, one day I probably won't be able to go every week. But I won't be calling for the manager to be sacked minutes after a game I didn't see. That's all I was saying.

I have never said sack Mickey.

Sack Knight for changing management when it wasn't need.

I have no doubt Mickey will keep us in this league this season, the problem is we were shaping up ready to go up under Wilkins and then Knight pokes his nose in, Why are we letting Knight get away with it he should be held responsible for what's happening now.

Yeah my comments were in the heat of the moment, you know, just after comming home from whitnessing an awful performance... It should have been a game we would win because i can't see us winning out next 3... then we will be in the same position after 14 games then 20 games and so on... when will be the time to actually do something about it.

Thing is, I've learnt over the last 27 years of supporting Brighton that for some strange reason we always play utter gash against teams we should beat...Even in the recent seasons where we've done well, we've always struggled against bottom of the table opposition. My biggest concern is the utter capitulation against Leeds last week when they should have really been fired up for it...Perhaps we're missing Forster more that what people realise.
