His mistake led to the goal and at derby it was like we played with 10 men. I don't have an irrational hatred of him I just don't think he is good enough.

I have been saying that for 18 months, he has no pace or physical presence, its time to change,........ I suspect though that the club want to build on his England profile to cash in at an opportune moment, to help keep the FFP wolves from the door.

He's being played out of position though. He's an attack minded midfielder, and Sami plays him as a defensive midfielder.

Stoppit,.... he performs the same wherever he plays in that midfield, this is the sort of comment we used to hear all the time about another Marmite player we used to have to put up with,.....he hasn't gone on to set the world alight either......they are both just average players.
