Interesting that the new restaurent and bar will be open to ALL supporters, I wonder if that spells the end for the other 'fans' bar in the north stand? The article also suggests it will be open on Sundays which i'm sure will be popular with students and visitors to the Uni.

I’m just getting a bit fed up with the 1901 haters, it just seems that the news this week that more money is being invested for additional 1901 seats has given some the perfect opportunity to vent more spleen about how the so called “real” fans are being forgotten, how the “Self important, Corporate & Johnny come latelys” are ruining it for everyone else.

The way some people go on about the 1901 club you’d think there weren’t any other seats in the whole stadium, there will be another 17,000+ seats for home fans.

Just wish people would let this f***ing club move forward for once in my lifetime.

Wodge, you realise we've let NSC down, we've let the kids down but worst of all we've let ourselves down by failing to get into a 7 page binfest slanging match about this issue, what is NSC coming to when two posters act like reasonable adults. It says there will be a new restaurant for 1901 AND a restaurant/bar for all supporters in the east stand. I don't think it was ever going to be in the north stand; that was just wild speculation.

Untie that knot in your knickers or get rid of that big f*** off chip on your shoulder, we are not all in a position to be able to afford 1901 and the privileges that come with it, I for one am a current sth and currently attend 3 or 4 aways a season but with all the johnny come latelys being at the front of the queue for aways it looks highly unlikely I will be able to continue next season. It's not just about the other 17000 seats at falmer.

Another knock-on effect of 400 more corporates in the East Stand will be fans buying Withdean half season tickets before the end of the month just to guarantee a season ticket at Falmer.
