[Albion] Club cancelling ST due to non-attendance

This is shit. A month or so ago I got an email along the lines of "we see you've missed XYZ do you want to put your ticket on the exchange" but in that time I'd not missed any home game, attended a home cup game and 2 away games I logged on to check my albion account and hadn't had any STH points added. Spoke to the club, had to prove I'd been in the ground (photos and screen shots from my account) and instead of an apology or admittance of fault, was told if I miss more games they'd sell my ticket on my behalf. I did remind them I'd not actually missed games and their ticket system messed up but no reply after that.
For all we do right, theres some basics we do really bad as if by design.
I would follow that up of that'd the case. Straight to Barb Vader.

Listing your ticket on the exchange is really easy, there is no excuse for not doing so and therefore avoiding all this kerfuffle.

The amount of threads we have moaning about not attending a game on here is ridiculous.
Playing devil's advocate - there's loads of things in life that are really easy and yet still fall down the priority order when life happens.

Something being easy doesn't necessarily mean it will be done as a priority.

I say this as a man who regularly forgets to do the laundry until I have one single pair of boxers left

at home
Just seen that the villa game also clashes with a holiday in April so that will go to an Albion + or on the exchange. That will be 6 games at home I have missed. What is the threshold till they cancel your renewals?

if its on the exchange, or swapped to albion + member via the website there is no threshold-you could do that for every game.
…..unless they invoke this

I see your point, but you do have control over your priorities. I appreciate there will always be a few edge cases but for the vast majority of people I cannot see an issue.

But if they invoke that clause, then it says renewal WILL be allowed if you confirm by telephone or online that you wish to do so.

Again, accepting that there will be occasions where things go awry- nothing as written seems unreasonable to me, but I know other people think differently

Imagine that allows them to assess the circumstances for non-attendance before making a decision

5 games out of 19, but you can ring the club to say you want to renew.
