In the last year alone in this part of Sussex, we have seen the following drinking establishments close down.

Littlehampton,
Steam Packet
True Blue
Wickbourne Swan
Lemon Tree
Angmering
The Lamb Inn
Worthing
Yates

CAN WE ADD ANYMORE?

Face it Wiggers, if you are mourning the lose of any of the 3 from Littlehampton, it's probably time for rehab.
And isn't The Lamb Ang village, open.

Where my best mate lives in Scotland two years ago there were 8 pubs in the village and now there is only 3.
For the first 6 months of the smoking ban there most people just nipped over the border into England where they could still smoke!!!

Really ?, I didn't know that. Shame if it does as it could be a quality little boozer if someone made the effort.

Depends what you're looking for, The Plough, The Seven Sisters and the White Lion are worth a try, or the Boot.

the location is great however it doesnt get enough regulars. when the thai resturant was added they pushed away all the 'drinkers' to other pubs (witch/red lion and standup) which all do well. the white horse as a resturant was doing well until chrsitmans as a resturant but he said since then takings were down.
