Everton should sort themselves out, they were left in the lurch

SPuds and Palarse I really couldn't give a shyte about.

Caretaker squirrel at least until Christmas would be my preference.

Spuds in particular is highly amusing, no one wants the job.

What a bizarre summer, obviously it could just be media talk but plenty of candidates seem to have turned down the Spurs job and a few have walked away from contention for the Palace post. I always thought there was a queue of managers desperate to get a premier league job

I was commenting this morning that I've never known for 3 Premier League jobs to be vacant for this long in the off-season. It's incredible to think that Everton, Tottenham and even Palace can't attract anyone they fancy. You would think that just about anyone would want to join any of them, because no matter what happens they're guaranteed a nice pay off along with a fat contract to sit on for a while.

Yup and its so unnecessary and unprofessional, once again shows that despite it being a billion pound business there's so much incompetence in the football world. Sports people making business decisions, business people making sports decisions. Eternal chaos. Imagine a large company changing the management of their most important department once or twice a year, it would be considered a crisis. In football its just normal. I think it was Wenger who said something along the lines with that people would be very surprised by how much incompetence there are in the board rooms and in the background management of football clubs.

Looking nailed on that Scott Parker will get the Bournemouth job, and Fulham will then be looking for a manager.

Seems a strange move for Parker, what can Bmuff offer him that Fulham can't? Unless of course he thinks he has taken Fulham as far as he can . . . or of course the Fulham board think that he has too.

Been at the Cottage for a fair few years though, both on the playing and coaching side of things.

The role of the professional football coach/manager is changing, the old dinosaur manager is no longer wanted by the owners/supporters the age of the coach is also getting younger how many of these younger coaches are out there? Not many I would presume hence the £30m fee for Nagglesmann and if to be believed the £20m for GP.

I did mention this in the other thread, but I do wonder if Potter was informally approached by a rep for Spurs/Everton and got a firm “no”.

Because I do find it curious how, especially for Everton, all the Potter rumours were building up and building up and suddenly.. nothing. It stopped cold.

All these conspiracy theories on here! No, l feel sure that neither club came anywhere near Potter, they both have much bigger fish to fry, Tottenham particularly.

Well well well. I did wonder a while back if Mr Potter was approached but flatly rebuked any opening. It was too strange how the rumours started to gather steam and then went completely cold.

And there are now some stories coming out that GP has snubbed Spurs and would only be interested in a top 4 job.

Oh, but can’t be true. Everton and Spurs particularly have bigger fish to fry. So I’m told.

And if it is mentioned in the Sun then it has to be true?
