Clearing visited websites from history?

You see, the thing is, I have this friend who borrowed his boss's laptop for work and stupidly visited some websites he shouldn't have :)

Now is there any way to completely clear any traces of having visited said websites from the computer? I know about the right click on explorer and properties but the addresses are still appearing in the auto-fill bar

I thought it was click on Tools, then Internet Options, then delete cookies, delete files and clear history and then click ok.

I think this clears Yahoo autofill as well. For Google I think there is clear history as well to click on.

Not that I have needed to do this

Having said that, if the guy is really clever he would still be able to find out what sites you have visited............and this is where a techi comes in.

Try this...

http://www.ccleaner.com/

Free software that will clean up your browser.
It does a damned good job at cleaning the rest of your system files and optimising your computer too.

Well worth using on a regular basis.

Oh dear!

I think he (or you, is it?) might have to go to tools, options, and delete 'Saved Forms'.
This should clear all those addresses that come up as "sexwithsluts.com" when the first letters 'se' are typed, for instance.

It will, of course, mean that the boss might also miss some pages he used to want to access by simply typing in the first letters.
Then, you should run a virus/adware tool and blame that, saying you cleaned a couple of dodgy things off his laptop for him and it meant clearing saved forms.

Picture the scene. Boss gets his laptop back and is sitting in a hotel room all on his own. Gets his laptop out and goes to check out his favourite sexwithsluts sites only to find that someone has wiped them all off.:lolol:
