There is no way on gods green earth he would get a extension on his contract, the length of his contract has been one of the biggest problems. I don't doubt for one second there is a meeting(although I don't think Poyet would be invited), but I wouldn't hold out much hope for a Gus return. I would have thought he has well and truly burn't his bridges and even if they did all kiss and make up. There would be so much bad feeling it would only all blow up again....Someone is going to have to go, they are probably meeting to see if they can sack him for breach of contract, without having to pay him off.

And, as Leigull said, why then were Tarrico and Oatway suspended just because of something Gus said after the match.

That was reported to be related to the discussion that they had with the players at the next t training session after the Palace game, comments that may have needed to remain in house until the dots and crosses were in place regarding next season.
