They’re superior to us any way, always at the Kingpower. Our home games will determine our division next season.

Superior to us yes but was hoping we could be the final nail in the coffin for Puel, the players weren't playing for him at all.

Sunday Supplement mention Rodgers, also saying Rafa Benitez is in the mix of rumours (though they doubt he'll leave Newcastle for Leicester).

I think* on BT sport last night in their matchday review bit, there was mention that rumours suggested Brendan Rodgers was being lined up.

*I definitely have a memory of that being mentioned, I suppose it's entirely possible I had a dream I was watching the show and they said that

They did, you weren't dreaming. I think they also all agreed Rodgers was unlikely to go anywhere before the end of the season. Bad news for us, though. I'm a big believer in New Manager Bounce.

I remember that marvellous win we had there at the Kingpower ...currently just five points superior

As ever, I envy your optimism with our away PL matches. IMO LCFC have a quality squad assembled at great expense. (CP nicking goals on the counter has been going for a few seasons now, giving them a wins against everyone, they won at LCFC last year, so yesterday was no surprise).

Our performance on Tuesday after a week or so rested up in the sunshine against a club without a manager, on a crap run and having just got duffed up by the Caravan Club at home on Saturday night will be an indicator as to where we are right now.

Fear we are going to get the backlash of this. Probably won't have a manager in place but more likely a coach from the backroom who is popular with the players and who they will be pleased to play for. That coupled with our atrocious away form means not looking forward to the trip as much as I was a couple of hours ago!!

We got no chance now , they will be a different team , like the team that played the second half at the Amex with 10 men
