This kid just won Tetris. First human to ever do it, apparently.


I watched that earlier - not all of it, I'm not a COMPLETE loon - and it's mesmerising and very impressive!

There’s a big competitive scene of people playing Tetris on original NES’s and someone has recently invented a new way to hold and use the controller. Which is mental considering the NES has been around for 30 years or so.

I certainly completed it at least once (I think twice) on the Gameboy. You get a rocket firing up the screen with some music, IIRC.

Never realised that "no-one had ever completed Tetris" as the breathless stories go, and if I'm understanding it correctly, they AREN'T as it is when it arrives at a crash screen!!

Don't know if you watched the video but this is for NES Tetris which is apparently the standard for competition.
