I've been listening to Cheap Trick's Budokan live album this morning. Arguably one of the greatest live albums out there...by arguably the original "we're big in Japan" band.

Over to you.

Seconds Out - Genesis
Frampton Comes Alive - Peter Frampton

All three superb live albums.

Woodstock. Santana, The Who, CSN&Y, Ten Years After et al, plus Ritchie Havens amazing set. The stage announcements/crowd chants are pretty cool too.

Not just an album, but a social document.

This.

Riff Raff with Axl at the Olympic Stadium last week was probably the best thing I've ever heard.

Agree. I understand he asked to sing this.

Space Ritual, Hawkwind. No Sleep til Hammersmith, Motorhead, Exit Stage Left, Rush

No Sleep...of course. Weird in that it's a bunch of separate recordings none of which are from Hammersmith. Maybe that's the point?

Also, It's Alive by The Ramones.
