Star Wars.
My Mrs has got all the films and my youngest son has all sorts of Star Wars stuff but i have no interest.

You should watch them with the sound turned down with Radiohead playing loud on the stereo

(hoping I am remembering the right person from a previous music thread)

Citizen Kane for me. I think I've downloaded it about 3 times, deleted it each time after having it on my hard drive for a few months and then repeated the cycle. I fear I will never see it.

Another vote for godfather films.

It's wierd because I love mafia/gangster films - Scarface, Goodfellas, Casino, Donnie Brasco are all great. Whenever I see a clip from a godfather film it just looks old and shit

Citizen Cane. Meant to be one of the best ever films. Never seen it.

Most of Tarantino's films. I have seen various bits of his films and they normally came over as extremely violent or nonsensical so have never bothered except for Jango Unchained.

Brazil. Tried once, looks terrible. I have seen Godfathers 1, 2 and 3. Thought they were just okay, wasn't hugely impressed tbh.

How can people not have seen Casablanca?!

Topically this week I have not seen the Shining.

I haven't but on my list because widely held after all these years to be amongst the greatest. As I've got older I've enjoyed more and more of these classics - makes you realise just how much shit is made today! How on earth some of it gets made and costs over £100million to do so I have no idea!

Godfather is another one from me. Strange because I usually love a mafia film! Just never got round to so far!

I had free tickets to watch Brazil years ago and left after 20 minutes, it was dreadful.

Does it feature any of Liam Neeson's stand-up?

Only as a DVD extra, I believe.

(Uncle Spielberg, please stop reading at this point.)

My previous comment refers to the fact that it really is a load of overly sentimental claptrap and the fact that Speilberg is called a genius because of it really gets my goat. You made an emotional movie that made people cry? About the holocaust? Wow. Make a movie about a cat who's a bit pissed off because he hasn't had his dinner that makes me cry and then I'll be impressed.

There's a lot of excellent literature based on the holocaust which says a lot more about the human condition than 'lots of people dying makes me sad'.

But it's a black and white movie with a red coat in it so it must be art right?

That movie pisses me off waaaaaay too much.

Obviously.
