You're saying Clarkson was saying he'd get the producer sacked. Presumably you feel the reason, the motivation for Clarkson reporting the incident a week or so later was with a view to achieving that ?

God knows how you work that one out, but I suppose you must have a reason, escapes me though. Clarkson reported himself because he had fxxxxed up, no other reason.

I'd fire him. Don't understand how people can defend him. It doesn't matter if you like the show or not he HIT his boss. Any other workplace he'd be out on his arse and probably charged with assault.

I get a bit sick of these artist/presenter prima donna types, who in the real scheme of things do nothing for humanity, yet think they can walk on water.
Yes, the show is entertaining, but he should try an behave like a normal person when off camera.
Too long getting away with it I expect and never dreamed the BBC would have the balls to do it..,
I doubt he will go hungry.

Straight to police would have been quicker. But the producer was probably honourably protecting the show he enjoyed making. You can't have one rule for one and not for others. JC had been losing it for quite a while. Seemed off his face in the last star in a reasonably priced car.
