It's weird: I really, really like Russell Brand - I think he's a really great and intelligent broadcaster. But I think the thing with Andrew Sachs was, whilst still very funny to listen to, a bit - just a bit - out of order, and probably worthy of some kind of official condemnation.

I would add that, bearing in mind the 3 months suspension of Ross (whose programmes I like), and taking into account the knowledge of this before the Top Gear broadcast, I would welcome a similar ban for Mr Clarkson. I do watch Top Gear some times but grit my teeth listening to Mr JC spout his self interest opinions. The editor/producer who also sanctioned broadcast should also get a suspension. (or even better punishment, seconded to Channel 5 for three months).
