Palace will probably be the first team to have worn those colours , yes they will say it was before anybody owned a colour Telly but that's neither here or there .

It's quite odd that a club with such a rich and long history completely abandoned their traditional claret and blue in 1973 on the whim of a chancer - sorry, visionary - such as Malcolm Allison.
