My Mrs is a horse rider and loves watching dressage, I usually leave the room or I take the piss a little to much.

I am told it is amazingly difficult to do and I'm sure it is very skillful and horse people love it. But the bloke was literally choking back tears. Whereas the canoe slalom commentators seemed more upset that the last bloke lost rather than the British bloke won.

Oh - and I assumed posh but she could well be one of the Moss Side Dujardin's I suppose.

Oh they love it, I get the full run down if the Mrs is watching it, yes it's difficult I know.
The commentator was going on about this large stallion, and the Mrs said " he's doing what he does best "
My reply was " what, mincing about ? "

When she's watching or going to a the three day eventing I always ask her how long it's on for

I'm not the only one that thinks they look similar, never seen them in the same room.

I did think Angela Eagle was Eddie Izzard when I first saw her on the news, that would also be a good name for him as he supports Palace.

I think he was just desperate to use the only "joke" he knows about lesbians. Probably been waiting for ages for a suitable thread. And then he went and phrased it in a way that makes no sense. Disappointing effort (as well as being unnecessary and completely irrelevant to the debate).

I remember channel hopping on BBC a few years ago when Clare Balding was hosting a Rugby League game. I don't follow Rugby League in the slightest, but there she was hosting it, sat amongst a couple of miserable, big, northern ex-Rugby League players, talking rugby league and she totally knew her stuff.

That,s it in a nutshell. Doesn't seem to matter what sport or company and not afraid to mix it.

Tried to grab a gold medal winning rower from NZ as he staggered away from his boat: Redgrave told him to leave the bloke alone and let him speak to NZ TV first. Inverdale put right back in his place.

A most irritating man. I remember him once getting shirty with an American tennis pundit who explained that they don't get as excited by their tennis players doing well in majors as they are simply used to it. He said she was being 'insulting' where Murray's success was concerned. Painful to watch.

Has to one of the blandest presenters on tv, knows nothing about sports apart from horse racing and gets all doe-eyed when working with anyone with a title! At least with Gary Liniker you know he knows what he's talking about, get more ex pros in and these rent a mouths out! If Partridge was good he would be Clare Balding.

If its sport then it has to be a male presenter for me,it was always so,and i much prefer it that way,PC has changed nothing for me
