According to caller on SCR people were calling for mc ghee's head after half hour and chanting leons name, apparently this guy was "toe to toe" with other brighton fans and he doesnt sound like an idiot either...not good news! :nono:

i have long since disapproved of mcghees managerial ability, granted the man is a legend, however 3 wins in 30 speaks for itself.

I am not saying we need to sack the man, but he does need to start winning for the sake of us, the team and his bank balance :lolol:

So where does your souce come from?

I was there today, right behind the goal (dead central) and about half way up (in the thick of it). Not once did I hear Leon's name sung out, not once did I hear calls for McGhee to be sacked.
However, I did hear several renditions of "Pints of whiskey" and "MM blue and white army".

I didn't see any toe-to-toe stuff (off the field) either. Except MM got well wound up just before half-time when Seb got flatened.

So it MUST be true...

Only after the story is repeated in the Arsegas-then it's gospel...

Let me clear this up, when we started singing Drinking pints of whisky mark Mcghee, some fat twat shouted out Mcghee is a wanker and then this bloke behind me said to him shut up mate he kept us up, and then the fat twat said he is still a wanker keeping Knight out today, and then they started shoving and stuff but some of us stopped it.

So how long should we give the manager before we say, okay enough is enough. Thanks but no thanks.

We gave Hinshelwood far too long when he was in charge. If we'd got Coppell in 2 games earlier we could've stayed up.

Yes McGhee is the guv'nor and it's up to him how he disciplines his team but you can't leave out an influential player like Knight and not get punished.

And is Robinson the answer? Or CKR? We were WRONG to spend the Coca Cola money on CKR...we needed an experienced goal poacher.

Will there be any money available when the transfer window opens? Should we stick with McGhee or replace him in time for the window? By then we might be entrenched in the bottom 3. It's looking likely Millwall are this season's Rotherham but 3 wins can change everything.

In short...is McGhee unsackable? :glare:

I hear you, but after Steve Gritt kept us in the league in 1997 he was sacked a year later. He left out one of our best players!

But we survived and you can't spend the present looking back at the past. We're BOTTOM THREE!

And if a club like Reading tapped up McGhee would he stay with us? I would be dubious.
