mate you really dont understand the world at all and are trying to rationalise it. it doesnt work like that. countless acts of self interest coalesce to form constantly shifting groups. its far more random than you wish it to be. even the industries and companies you see as having hands on tillers do not have any plan or direction, management is constantly changing and there are constant internal conflicts. you really really need to give up on this conspiracy theory stuff, its doing the opposite of what you think,its stopping you thinking - its like clinging to religion as you cant cope with the concept of eternal blackness after you snuff it. i am trying to do you a favour here mate.

Ukraine isnt being welcomesd with open arms, they have to apply through a process and observe a whole bunch of economic reforms before entering. they are years away from this happening, even if the EU members agree to them joining. Scotland, currently not even independent, would follow the same process, starting from when they apply.

It takes years for anyone to join. There is no way around this.

Serbia is starting the initial process and they are years away.

Turkey began the process in 2005 and still isn't a member.

Yet it seems you believe it has been offered and already accepted in Kyiv by unaminous support in a non-existent vote

Capitalistic Globalisation is western....this is objective truth. Also do some maths on Western nations invading other countries versus "vice versa" in the last 100 years. Hell, look at the world most toxic 20 corps and see what markets they float on.
look at how many countries youths (who had pretty sound morals - generally) have now turned to the american pop culture that is forced down their throat on every screen (latin america, far east)....eg. in maya tribes, all the people over 30 are still living their way with their traditions, but all the youths are hustling and being bad dressed like LA gangs.

Hide behind insulting me....again....doesn't change objective truths, but seems to give you somewhere safe to hide i guess.

you're cute with accusations of patronising when your entire point is based on holier than thou "the western global capitalist overlords are to blame for everything". you convienently forget that poverty, slavery and greed of corporations or individuals didnt start in "the west", there's a long history through all of time in all societies. Russia has a rich vein of form in this field of endevour too, pre-communist, under communism and since communism. you think the oligarchs make billions without impacting or impoverishing some of the locals? you speak of objective truths but only see subjectivly, assuming everything "western" is wrong or bad, anything not is right and good. yet you dont actually have any political manifesto to solve this, no suggested cure for the perceived ills of the west. you just shout and rant about it this grand evil system while enjoying the benefits it grants you. you think Russia is a great place to live, or wonder why the rich Russians dont?

So some people, oddly to you but not the vast majority, are pro west because they've seen the other side and dont fancy it. but you are so well placed to tell them they havent the knowledge or insight to make that decision themselves.
