With the economy as it is no one can expect pay rise of any sort....Dustbin Men are no exception...I`m in Lewes and here the binmen are Brilliant.

Nobody has ever said that a bin mans job is the same as a TA.

Each job was independantly assessed and points score /salary given to it. They just happened to come out with the same result probably along with several other jobs across the Authority.

Want a decent refuse collection service? move to Adur-Worthing. Faultless. Separate wheelie bins for rubbish and recycling (which is all thrown in together-not several boxes). Also you can have your garden waste collected in a wheelie bin as well for an extra charge.

Executive pay is what needs to be paid to employ the people required...It doesn`t always work..Any one with any sense would be happy to pay employee £1m year if they bought more than that in profit to business.
Quoting the 100 wealthiest...these are mostly the movers and shakers,entrepreneurs employing creating jobs and wealth.
These are the people who even in a downturn come good.
When the going gets tough the tough get going and others whinge.
Dustbin men do a very usefull job but do you really think any comparison can be drawn between them and top 100 wealthiest people.
