isn’t the problem also largely political? The UAE-UK relationship is at risk and the UK govt will intervene (as they have already done so).
Who’d have thought letting foreign sovereign states own our football clubs would create issues…

I suspect that, if found guilty, they will get a large points deduction (70-80 points?) that will effectively relegate them.

Unfortunately one relegation isn't enough in my book, if they are guilty on all or most of the charges. they should be relegated out of the league.

They should also have all trophies taken away from them from any seasons where they broke the rules.
