Arsenal of course wanted to keep him so they offered him a good deal to stay and good wages of just over £25,000 per week. But that was two years ago and Akpom is still waiting for his major breakthrough.
going for a 9pm announcement on both players

yepSo that would be 9pm tomorrow, then?
City are willing to let Iheanacho go on loan, would be far better IMO.
LThe match report for the U23s match is now done, the club media can turn their attention to announcing any signings.

Sounds promising in saying he's 'agreed' a move to Brighton. Although I'm always weary that other clubs catch on to this sort of thing and try to poach the player before he's actually signed. The article also says he would be competing with Murray for a place in the team, but Baldock will obviously be the main player standing in his wayhttp://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...ransfer-time-to-prove-his-worth-a7554301.html

To be honest I don't really care what we could do for him and his career, as 'a good team that creates plenty of chances'. In fact I often wonder what the strikers in the under 23s and Academy think of a kid from Arsenal waltzing in to a first team opportunity.
I want to know is he good enough for us RIGHT NOW?
Signing as competition for Glenn Murray for the main striking berth?
