A Belgian site reports we tried to get him in the summer 2023 window, but he chose Genk over us.

KRC Genk took Bonsu Baah away from Sarpsborg in the summer of 2023 for 5.2 million euros. His first season was difficult. Not illogical in a team that didn't run at all and that as a young player. De Condé came to Terril Talks with more information about the transfer of the young flank striker.​

I wonder if the plan was to loan him to USG or if it would have been a transfer for USG.
