Not one single program worth wasting the electricity on!
Some argue that the license fee is good value for money. But when you look at the material and services available and each broadcasters original material, I don't think so.
BBC = £13.37
Netflix = £8.99 (for me)
Prime = £7.99
What are all the Netflix and Prime radio stations like?
I take your point – and the comparisons will ALWAYS be made with the alternatives to terrestrial TV. But for the three days of Christmas, the BBC costs license payers £1.29. For 10 TV channels, all the radio stations and the website. Which means the 'cost' of that BBC running order for Christmas day is about 20p! The Gruffalo is worth that alone...
