Paddy, however, left a note on the kitchen table and has buggered off to Burnley for the football.

He'll not be seeing his next birthday.

Haven't even thought about christmas shopping yet. Normally gets done with military precision on the saturday before christmas. List of people, present and shop to buy it in. Quickest route calculated, in, out, shake it all about, off down the pub. Job done.
