Anyway, for me all the Laurel and Hardy, Marx Brothers, W C Fields films etc that they always used to show at Christmas and sadly never do anymore. Few things better than watching classic L&H knockabout whilst slumped, half-cut and munching a mince pie, on the sofa

Interesting fact- Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho is set at Christmas time.

Opening scene shows the date to be December 11th. However, no reference is made visually to the festive period and no one mentions it. The film covers a period of days that would lead right up to the day its self!
