I think that's a list of stuff to avoid.

None of the above.

Will probably have a blu-ray or two to stick on, if we're not embroiled in Jenga or something.

People don't seem to give DVDs or Blu-rays (or videos) as gifts these days, but i've got a Springsteen blu-ray on my wish-list. May have to bargain with the missus over Midwife.

I have recorded a few things using BT Sport. Easy to do. Recommended.

I think if you have Sky TV or any other paid for TV then it is no better on Xmas Day than any other day of the year to be honest.

Most looking forward to the TV being switched off

This. F*ck all decent TV being produced by anyone but HBO and AMC (and Spike seems to be offering a couple of potentially good shows starting in the New Year). BBC has dumbed down so much there is nothing worth watching anymore and ITV has never produced a decent program. C4/5 occasionally have something worth watching, but otherwise nothing is made in the UK that is anything but eyeball massage.

Christmas Eve mass from the Vatican which starts on Christmas Eve and ends just before midnight so maybe doesn't count.

Will watch Dr Who with everyone talking over the bits that need concentrating on, and then watch it again later on iPlayer in peace.
