My annoyance is somewhat reduced by the mental of croissants. A Commander family Christmas Day tradition going back at least two years now.

Are you a HORSE in disguise? It is All Bran or Bran Flakes (both equally disgusting of course).

Don't get me started on Christmas Day meals by the way, there will be a meltdown as I anticipate a bloody awful day spent with Mrs Jakarta's relatives and NO BOOZE until I get home late on...

For the first time ever my family & I are going to an hotel for Christmas Eve/Christmas Day/Boxing Day.
This involves two full blown English breakfasts + two five course meals + nibbles in the evenings.
Some drink may be taken as well

I fear I may be in a similar position with Mrs V as I am designated driver, ie the only one of us who can go without booze at a family get together. Still, at least the roads will be pretty quiet for the mad dash home eh ?
