Which Christmas adverts are annoying you already?

For me it's the Argos one with those stupid blue aliens on their mobile phones, it seems to be on every single break.

The other advert that gets on my tits (although it's not really a Christmas one) is the Bleu de Chanel "I'm not going to be the person you expect me to be" one.

John Lewis Ad

Why cover the brilliant Frankie - power of Love. Why not use the original.

John Lewis ad is very annoying not to mention unrealistic. I mean, where does the snowman get the money for the gloves? Or does he shoplift them?

Also, when he's standing in that crowded shopping street looking up at the shop, why doesn't someone do the obvious and whip his carrot nose off and stick it low down on his snowy body so it looks like he's got a knob?

It's the little details like this that really matter.

Miserable grumps.

I love Christmas adverts.

The John Lewis one is decent - not as good as the one with the little lad and the Smiths cover, but decent.

I can't stand the Marks and Spencer advert. Starts well with a christmas song then turns into cheesy crap office party
celebration. Rubbish

The original is one of my favourite songs around Xmas but have to admit I love the new version

I know it's not a Xmas advert but I'm loving the Southern comfort ad with the chubby bloke in speedos & shoes walking along the beach ( love the bit where he dips his shoulder as he walks past the hot totty

Agree-quite like that JL one and the cover version of the song works for me too

The ones with Mylene Klass grate with me too. There's something about her stupid expression and the soft focus, slow-mo framing of her face that makes me cringe.

I effin' love Christmas ads and songs. Mrs Grombleton is putting a Christmas playlist together and the John Lewis ad has just come on the telly. perfect combo.

The one advert I HATE with a passion at the moment is the BT 'Halloween party'. As if the characters weren’t annoying enough we now have Halloween party adverts for the last two months,

This. They've gone to a party where all the party music is streamed online and no one, and I mean NO ONE, has a CD or an iPod/iPhone.

What century are those 'kids' living in?

Ah man that Channel advert sucks so much, it makes absolutely no sense whatsoever!

I'm not sure I've ever seen a fragrance advert that makes any sense. At no point do I think to myself "I bet that smells nice, I'm going to get some of that". It's almost like they compete to have the most abstract advert possible.
