Yep, I'd be able to join Jimmy Savile, and all those abusing priests and Bishops that covered their tracks, because God would forgiven them when they repent. Child murderers, rapists, all in heaven because they repent and believe in the Lord even if only with their final breathes. Someone who leads an honest charitable life doesn't get in because they didn't even know about Jesus.
Do you know anyone who hasn't heard of Jesus?

Enjoy your eternal party with the rapists and murderers. Jim'll Fix it for you.
There may well be will be murderers and rapists there who have sincerely repented. To repent is not just to say "sorry."
It is when you are convicted of your sin, to turn away from your sin and to commit your life totally to following Jesus.
You are talking like the Pharisees who criticised Jesus:
When the teachers of the law who were Pharisees saw him eating with the sinners and tax collectors, they asked his disciples: ‘Why does he eat with tax collectors and sinners?’ On hearing this, Jesus said to them, ‘It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but those who are ill. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.’

Yes, it is my opinion, but it is based on evidence.

No, it is not based on evidence at all. Everyone in this thread has seen what you call evidence, and it's a complete joke, and doesn't stand up to a modicum of scrutiny. Believe in your fake god all you like, but don't pretend any of it is evidence based, because that's deluded drivel.

Yes, but they will not help you.

Although I agree with you, they are as likely to help you as following Jesus is.

That is true. I understand that you have to say 'Hail Mary full of grace' a few times too.

Shove a bundle of those in on your deathbed, leave a wod of cash to the church, and you're good to go.

My wife’s best friend is a paid up christian with all the bell ringing and church services etc. On her last visit I asked her a whole heap of questions regarding her faith and things that I thought were contradictions in religion and the bible. Her main response was that it depended how you interpreted the bible and even e mailed her vicar who sent her pages of stuff to answer my questions. She never forwarded his e mail to me.

Yeah, my Amazonian mate Clive, he hasn't heard of Jesus.
Clive sounds like an odd name for someone from the Amazon.

Does that include the self-righteous?
I suppose yes must be the answer to that, for if you are confident in your own righteousness what need will you have for Jesus? I mean, you do need Jesus, but you probably won't realise it.

In John's gospel we read how Jesus said: "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the father except by me." You can't get to God through Buddha or Muhammad or Shiva or any other way.
In the Book of Acts, Peter says: Jesus is ‘“the stone you builders rejected, which has become the cornerstone.” Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.’ When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realised that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus.

There is no other name.

I can't remember where you stand now. Perhaps you can remind me, do you accept that Jesus existed and was crucified, as virtually all scholars agree, or are do you hold some kind of fringe belief about that?

Although I agree with you, they are as likely to help you as following Jesus is.
Well, that depends on whether Jesus rose from the dead or not.
If he did, then he's going to be the one we need to be following.

You don't get a God with Buddha, which is why I have a bit more respect for the things he is supposed to have said, they stand on their own and don't need to have come from a higher authority, and thinking for yourself is encouraged.

Have you indeed. Why's that?
mostly lack of evidence, but also persisting the notion that only through Jesus can you get to god, therefore excluding most the worlds population based on where happen to be born.

You might think you're not, but that's not the same thing.

Buddha's not going to help you. He's dead. His body was cremated. Muhammad is also dead, and buried in Medina in Saudi Arabia.
Now there is a case to be made that Jesus rose from the dead. It's known that he was crucified, and that his followers reported that he rose again a couple of days afterwards, and that the Roman and Jewish authorities were unable to point to his body to disprove these claims. It's also reported in the gospel of John that there was a head-cloth and linen burial clothes. And guess what, we have a head-cloth in Oviedo in Spain and a linen shroud in Turin in Italy, and the blood stains match exactly. Fancy that. https://www.reviewofreligions.org/11770/the-sudarium-of-oviedo-and-the-shroud-of-turin/

Let me ask you, you do know that Jesus lived and was crucified, don't you? I hope you're not that confused that you aren't clear about that much.

You really are a persistent zealot, people like you put people off religion, your constant I know better, with no proof.
I actually hate christianity and Jesus more than I did before I started reading your pugnacious, unfounded, unprovable posts.

If there is a heaven, God & his nipper Jesus do exist, and I got to the pearly rusty gates and it was full of people like you…
I would be requesting a transfer, either that or Jesus would take me to one side, point to you and say to me “stay away from that one, he’s a bit OTT”

Wow.
The way you talk. Have a look at some of your posts. What I say is extremely mild compared to the way you write.
That's what's pushed me to raise my tone slightly, and boy look at the reaction.

These are your arguments. Actually, they're not arguments, are they, just ranting:

Is this Crock‘O’Shite thread still going….. Anyone been converted yet ?
:ROFLMAO: Spoken like a true Christian, I love Jebus too. Can we go on a drive together in your pick up truck and spread those bullets of Jebus love around the none believers.
Do you like guns ?
Really, It will fly over the Christians head, we have already established, they are selective and will come back with a contrived video by some irrelevant theologian to back up his nonsense.
Your a patronising religious zealot, I can not longer converse with you.
Yeah, Yeah, Yeah.... You believe what you want that is fine, crack on. Stop trying to convince others that do not, why do this ? Unless of course your having doubts about your faith ? You can show me as many crackpot discussions you can find on GodTube as you want, you will NOT alter my...
I guess that blows the fairy tale about Adam & Eve out of the water then.
Someone please close this thread, I think there is word for this thread, enabling.
Please take me out of your stupid table, I am not an experiment or part of any project of yours. I would never have replied to any of your posts if I had known. You don’t listen, and have an agenda which I’m not sure of. You epitomise everything I despise about Christianity and other religions...
Liars with an agenda.. Give this a read, I am sure you will dismiss it like everything else though. https://danielmiessler.com/p/the-bible-is-fiction-a-collection-of-evidence/
You know what..... It is not a fact, end of. More than likely, yes. The trouble is you have no proof, like a lot of your psychobabble other than what has been written, re written etc, etc, etc.
hmmm, you seem to be ramming it down peoples throat, until most of us just give up. Granted Granted No there is not. No because there is no evidence, none zip, zilch. I am not going to pay any attention, theories by crackpots or theologians alike, because it is subjective and has no...
Oh, please help for the love of Satan… unless this is an elaborate scam, where you trick me in to posting photos on the WWW, then you are an idiot. I am done, with this thread, it’s going nowhere slowly. have a lovely sunday.
