I thought the Mitoma goal took a slight deflection off the defender which made it look worse on Walton.

I thought it might have done on first viewing but a couple of other angles show that it might not have done, so I'm not sure.

Christian certainly seemed bedeviled by the way the ball behaved on the Mitoma shot & goal.

Looked pretty good to me. Some decent saves. Maybe could have done a bit better with one of the goals but certainly didn’t look horribly out of place.

Whilst at the Albion he was never going to make the grade to 1st team in the EPL. So to think he is playing in the EPL now, albeit 4 games, he must be proud. Good luck to the guy.

It looked like he was next in line, ahead of Sanchez, to challenge Ryan for the first team place when he replaced Ryan at half time in the pre-season friendly. He landed badly coming (successfully) for a cross and had to be carried/helped off, Sanchez came on, didn't put a foot wrong, and the rest is history.
