I’m just numb having watched that. Heart breaking. Thought it was a really off the tv showing him getting cpr.

I agree. Should have focussed elsewhere. It’s left me feeling quite sick. I hope he’s ok.

I'm fearing the worst. I can't believe the coverage showed what it did.

He appeared to be convulsing before going unconscious. Awful.

I am holding on to the hope that Muamba pulled through and he should have the best medical care possible with all the medics and doctors that would be there.

I can’t believe the tv coverage carried on showing the resuscitation and Eriksen’s devastated wife. They should have cut away immediately as it was obvious what was happening.

I was there for that and it was horrific, he was saved by a specialist in the ground and it didnt look this bad.

To be fair - if you are going to suffer this then apart from it happening in a hospital then the next best thing is at a major sporting event. Expert medical care being available immediately.

Re the broadcast, I don’t think the BBC have any control over whoever is in control of the live pictures, they just pay to be able to use it, like every other country.

They could have gone back to the studio quicker and cut the feed altogether though.

Fingers and toes crossed for all concerned.

I’m trying to stay optimistic. He had the best attention and the latest equipment treating him within minutes. Normally casualties are waiting 20 minutes for that sort of intervention. If there is still a rhythm he has the best possible chance of a positive outcome

I’m not going to repost the picture. But initial reports suggest he’s in a stable condition leaving the stadium.

Thank god.

Utterly heart breaking.

Please pull through.

Seeing his wife at the side of the pitch was so sad.

Danish TV didnt show his wife etc.

Positive thing at least is that Rigshospitalet is only a couple of hundred meters away from the stadium.
