Not sure returning to football is a good idea, certainly at a professional level. Great player and comes over as one of footballs nice guys... He has money in the bank so why risk coming back?
Like a timeshare?I'll say Everton, Watford and the Wankpuffins.

so you might know something we don't, but didn't we reject a transfer after he failed a medical due to heart problems and the selling club kicked off and later he had heart problemsIf Adam Lallana and Danny Welbeck can pass a medical, it gives hope to absolutely everyone.

Primarily, because he wants to play in the World Cup.
His weasel agent is predictably telling all and sundry what great nick he's in, so he can screw some more $$$ out of him. Personally I wouldn't touch him with a shitty stick. As you say, he's made for life financially, so why risk putting yourself through the immense physical exertion to get to the elite fitness levels to get back to being a PL and International player ?
I hope someone in his family has a word, and calms him down.

There is a suggestion in this post that he is being reckless with his health. I see no reason to assume this, given the fact that he will have a very good medical team around him giving advice, coupled with the medical team from what ever team he is joining i would expect he is making his decision based on solid scientific information.
Why put himself through the physical exertion to get back to playing at the top level? Perhaps he enjoys it and misses it?
Who is to say he isn't calming making this decision based on all available information?
He can shoot, which would be a welcome change.
Don't worry, we'll sort that out.
