Decent enough player, who would be a useful option in our squad at present.

Absolutely no chance of it happening though, surely? IF he goes back out on loan what possible reason would he have for coming here rather than back to Birmingham, where the fans adore him, and he can live in his own house?

He is a young player (as is Ashley Barnes) and they are prone to drops in form, If Wood came back a chunk of NSC would be on his back in a second baying for blood as soon as he had one bad game.
