Assuming that this is utter crap.

The potter deal I can completely understand.
It makes sense, from a club vision point of view.

But if we weren't confident of landing our man, why the **** did we get rid of Chris?

Don’t see it tbh he will want a crack with a Sheffield United and the team he has built. If they hadn’t been promoted then could have been a goer. Seems we are happy with where we are Swansea know we want to speak to Potter and until he says no looks like we are happy to wait

Professional Northerner.

Left us after 5 minutes as a player so he could move back up north.

Absolutely no chance. United fan who still goes to training and games on the Sheffield bus. More chance of Klopp. Don't give that shitty site a click.

This is clearly bollox, absolutely no chance of Wilder leaving the club he supports that he has just got promoted to the premier league.

If Chelsea came in for him I doubt he would move either.

This.

And whoever wrote that if we were not sure of getting Potter why did we get rid of Chris sounds like the sort of bloke who'd never leave a girlfriend unless he had someone else lined up. Not a great look, tbf.

He's Sheffield Utd through and through and has just got his team promoted to the same league as us. Likelihood of this happening on a scale of 1-10: minus 12

This + why on earth would he leave the club he has supported all his life, a city he loves, a club set-up to his specification, a club and fans that clearly respect and worship him and the prospect of bringing even further success to his club.

'A Brighton source has told Football Insider that Wilder is understood to be among those targets and the club are ready to firm up their interest by making an official approach...'

Seems legit...
