Yes i must say he was superb in the hold up position shielding and laying off, if not for tex's magnificent display would easily have been MoM for me, but, in all honesty, a brilliant team performance, our best display this season some of our passing was as good as when Gus was here. Well done to CH for turning our season around. i'm a very happy seagull tonight.

So many of you on this thread need to take a long look at yourself! Who said football fans are fickle ? The same people who persecuted him are now lauding him....LMAO about the so called football experts on here.

Totally ... had Berra pretty well man marking him but had him in his pocket. All Berra could do was hoof it into touch at every opportunity.

Tex played some magic stuff but COG could quite easily have been MOM there.

Very much hope he stays but doubt he will

If he is on his way you won't see a more professional performance from someone who knows he is leaving. Top man and hope he stays. A totally different player under CH, who is turning out to be a great appointment. Shame we didn't give him the job instead of Sami in the first place.

I think he deserves an apology from the club but then again we all do! I would like him to stay

his body language and actions (clapping the fans in all directions) certainly gave me the impression that it was a good-bye from O'Grady.

I would agree with that. He played well tonight, but then so did all of them, not sure that he is the long term answer but wouldnt be disappointed if they kept him until the summer.

I stuck by him. I'll be gutted if he leaves.

Really pleases me to see some of you now changing your minds about COGba. I couldn't understand the posts knocking him earlier in the season, when he'd really not been given a fair run for you. He still hasn't, really. He scored a goal every other game for us in 18 months and he was a joy to have at the club and in the side.

He still owns his home in Barnsley though, as well as renting down your end (think he's had 4 different rentals down there, his missus is a bit particular). I hope he stays put, if only because I can't stand Sheff Utd and it pained me to see him wearing their kit.

'You to me are everything, the goals you score they make me sing, O'Grady, O'Grady..."

Always thought he was a grafter, and a thoroughly honest lad. Must have had something about him to score the goals he did in a struggling side last season, and that it was a shame Hyypia- the buffoon- never actually gave him a chance. I suspect he's the sort of player who'll miss a few more than he scores, but he puts such a shift in, has better ball control than CMS, and played a very valuable role tonight. Would love him to stay, but wouldn't blame him for wanting to go if his family aren't coping.

He made an immense difference, he was all over their back line left, right and centre. The difference he made not only in attack but also defence was clear to see 30 seconds after he was subbed, instead of protecting the gap he was sitting in a chair without a jacket on. I think they should look after him better.

Some COG quotes sic
When he signed for Barnsley "It's just nice to feel wanted"
When he signed for shef utd on loan "It's just nice to feel wanted"
After the Brentford cup game "It's just nice to feel wanted"

Someone posted a tweet on here after the brentford league game about (in his own words) how he didn't think he was good enough for us.

The Barnsley fan how posted on here said you need to look after him was spot on, not really that difficult - but too much for Semi to do.

It's annoyed me what SH did to some of these players, consiquently players like COG got stick from supporters because of it.
Sorry to be a doom merchant, but I think the damage has already been done. I just have this bad feeling he has already been sold. It will be a lesson to all the people who shouted at him from the stands, just like they did against Barnes.

SH is a probably a great person, but thank god he is no longer managing our club.
We can go in to the Arsenal match with a cushion of 6 points now, and enjoy it.
